DIRECTOR GENERAL, Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek). E. AMINUDIN AZIZ obtained two degrees in Linguistics from Monash University (MA 1994-1996 and PhD 1997-2000) after completing two Diplomas and an Undergraduate Degree from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia/Indonesia University of Education (UPI, formerly IKIP Bandung). Other than being an academics, he was assigned various positions at UPI; from Head of Departments, Director of Institutional Planning and Development, Secretary to the University, to the last two posts as Vice Rector. Under his vision and strong leadership in various teams, UPI had seen substantial changes and significant improvements. At the National level, he was once appointed as the Head of the National Language Centre of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia (2010-2011), but had to return to the University to continue his leadership as Vice Rector until 2015 where UPI was in the process of transforming itself to become an autonomous university. Aminudin has widely researched and published scholarly works mainly in his specialization Pragmatics (esp. in topics on Linguistic Politeness) and Sociolinguistics. Currently, Aminudin is Professor of Linguistics (since 2007) and Principal Founder of the Centre for Forensic Linguistic Analysis (CeFLAN) in the Department of English Language and Literature UPI. For several years, Aminudin has also been active as a Linguistics Expert Witness for the Indonesian National Police. Aminudin is now Education and Culture Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, in London the United Kingdom (since July 2016) accredited to the UK and Ireland. After three years posting in London, in 2019, Aminudin was elected as one of the Seven Education Attachés of the Year by Embassy Magazine, London.

Ahmad Yuniarto spent 22.5 years of international career with Schlumberger in Australia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, France, West Africa, United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia. After working as Field Engineer for 4.5 years, he held various management roles from operation, human resources development, research and new technology development, marketing, president director. His last position prior to electing early retirement in 2014 was the Chairman for Schlumberger Group Indonesia. Ahmad Yuniarto, or AY, currently divides his time between social philanthropy through his foundation, Biru Peduli, and Save the Children; professional activities where he is the senior advisor to Boston Consulting Group, Shell Upstream, Indonesian Geothermal Association, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and other organisations; education, where he is the advisor to Universitas Gadjah Mada, and professional/practitioner lecturer in School of Business Management ITB. Passionate in people development and storytelling, AY enjoys coaching, mentoring, running, photographing, and reading. He is fascinated by human behaviour, especially in dealing with complexity and uncertainty.
