- an event organised by London School of Economics Student Union (LSESU) ASEAN Society & King's College London (KCL) ASEAN Society -

Following success in co-hosting with KCL ASEAN Society earlier in January, Nusantara Innovation Forum (NIF) was invited again to support their flagship annual event together with LSESU ASEAN Society: ASEAN Youth Summit (AYS). This event aimed to inspire future leaders of Southeast Asia across economic, political, and social sectors. It provided an opportunity for world-class speakers and students to discuss recent challenges, trends, and opportunities in the region.
This year's theme, Makers of Tomorrow, was designed around inequality, sustainability and technology. NIF co-planned the technology and inequality panels. We had Haikal Pribadi, CEO and Founder of Grakn, a tech company that builds an intelligent database using artificial intelligence, and Ahmad Yuniarto, Chairman and Founder of Biru Peduli Foundation, a philanthropic organisation in Indonesia which helps marginalised children to get access to education.

Overall, it was a wrap! At least sixty participants, mostly students, joined the lively panel discussions. Many were interested in getting to know NIF; some even asked about internship opportunities. Well, we are crafting the programme, so please stay tuned!
